I have been working with Jenna remotely now for 3 + years. She is entering her Senior year at Idaho State. This last season (2026) they got their first NCAA birth and went to regionals to play Oregon. Jenna Absolutely crushed in the tournament. It is awesome because we are at the point in our coach/player relationship that she can just text me film, I will analyze and give feedback, we will send a voice memo or something back and forth, and then the next day she will show out. She hit a BOMB in the championship game to win. The picture is her and I holding the conference tournament trophy.
Here is a quote from her Momma, Keri!
My daughter started working with Vicky when she was 10 focusing on developing her hitting and catching. In addition to knowing the game very well, Vicky's coaching style is relaxed and confident. She takes the time to really assess the athlete and communicates in a way that makes it easy to understand. This connection brings meaningful change in a positive environment. The improvement we saw in our daughter was wonderful, but what was even better was how comfortable she became with her game and how happy she was. She was able to quickly accomplish her young goals. Her brother soon joined in with lessons and his hitting took off. Both kids were already pretty good hitters, but she was able to help them develop to higher levels. Her approach helped both kids transition into confident, versatile hitters that tap into a variety of tools that help them respond to the situation whether it's power, short game, opposite field hitting.
Throughout our daughter's softball career, Vicky has been a huge part of her success. Whether it's through regular one-on-one sessions, working with her as an assistant coach, or connecting with refreshers later on, the support Vicky provides has been unmatched. During her three years of college, she has been able to reach out virtually from long distance to get assistance with both hitting adjustments, game strategy, and most importantly, mental toughness. I will always be grateful for everything that Vicky has done for us. 🤍"
Forever proud of you Jenna, and I am SO excited for your senior year!
